Chains are first inspected for any damage, then cleaned to remove dirt, sap and other deposits.
Using our top of the range bench-mounted electric grinder, we can sharpen 1/4″, .325, 3/8″, .404 and 3/4″ chains consistently and accurately, either to the chain manufacturer’s recommendations or to your specification. This includes adjusting depth gauge (raker) height.
Most chain servicing costs between £5 and £7 per chain. For a more accurate price, simply divide the number of chain links by 10, e.g. £8.40 for an 84 link chain (£5 minimum). Discounts are applied for multiple chains left with us at the same time.
